FEMEN: We're Not Here for You

In case you didn't get the memo, religious chicks don't define the condition of womyn.

Nocturnus Libertus
It seems as though religious women feel privileged enough to think that they define the condition and opinions of womyn all across the globe. They feel as if they can speak for the majority of us, and they seem to believe that they are capable of understanding our issues.

However, I'm here to tell the world, that they don't.

It seems as if the world is suffering a paradigm of "representation of the majority". This is something, that simply DOESN'T fit the ideas, agendas, conditions, or situations of any individual womyn(woman). After recently completing my research on FEMEN, it's system, and it's activities, I decided to join their organization. For oo many years, religious ideals or "morality" have been shoved down the throats of free-thinkers, and those who are intelligent enough to question the legitimacy (or lack thereof) of religion and hierarchy.

FEMEN has come under attack from liberals, fauxminists, and religious women who mistakenly think that FEMEN activists exist to liberate them. They call this the "White Saviour" complex (dismissing all the other FEMEN activists of colour). I've been subjugated by religious ideals of "morality" and my humanity has been disregarded as if it were nothing more than dirt across the ground. I live by their laws and rules, without a say in what I do or don't approve of, and any sign of dissension can lead to silencing by religious people abroad, as well as American liberals.

Some seem to think that we believe it's our mission as Feminists, to somehow liberate women who serve (innately) patriarchal religions, but they are not are primary concern. Freedom and secularity are. We exist, because there are womyn who are forced to live under the iron fist of religious "morality", and are persecuted if they dare refuse to comply with these "authority" figures.

When it boils down to the final elements, behaviours define purpose. Liberalism stands hand-in-hand with fauxminism, because it fits the agenda. Not to liberate womyn, but to further subjugate them, and to re-dfine liberation as subjugation, so that we will never be free.
